Background
Liberia, founded in 1847 by freed African-American settlers through the
American Colonization Society, endured a military coup in 1980 and a
devastating civil war (1989–2003).
Nearly 300,000 lives were lost.
Thousands fled to refugee camps.
Schools, healthcare, and infrastructure were destroyed.
Women, children, and the elderly were left most vulnerable.
Today, Liberia is rebuilding — but gaps in shelter, education, and basic care
remain. Graceful Hearts Ministry is working to fill those gaps.

To restore hope, dignity, and opportunity for women and children affected
by Liberia’s decades of conflict through safe housing, food support,
education assistance, and clothing distribution.
Our Aims
Graceful Hearts Ministry is committed to:

Building a Safe Orphanage Home
Provide long-term care, shelter, and stability for orphans and vulnerable
children.

Provide Immediate Food Relief
Serving breakfast at three local churches every week, with funding from small donations and personal resources.

Support Children’s Education
Assisting with school tuition, fees, uniforms, and learning materials.

Clothing & Supplies Distribution
Collecting donated clothing, footwear, and school supplies for children and women in Liberia. Donations are safely stored in a personally funded storage unit, awaiting
shipment.
